This is an image of the northern lights, also known as the aurora, taken with an older mirrorless Sony camera. Since the photo was taken in a Bortle class 4 location, there was still a fair amount of light pollution, meaning the resulting image isn't the sharpest. The only editing I did was darkening the color of the trees in the foreground to remove color noise. The pink sky color is exactly what my camera saw.
